Talk about a clog!

Most on Backorder

FatbergIt took 10 days to get rid of the Great London Fatberg, and although it may have taken less time to break down the offending heap of gunk, there is always the possibility that it could have reformed further down the line if it was all washed down at once. .

The size of the Fatberg has been compared to a Double Decker Bus, but nobody has mentioned whether it is like one of those open-topped models that you can take around NYC or the one the Paul McCartney caught back in 1967 when he noticed that he was not on time. Also, nobody asked why Paul was taking a bus on that day in his life when he probably had enough money to buy himself a Rolls Royce like the fellow who supplied the beginning and end of his tune.

15 Ton Estimated Weight.

The overall weight of the fatberg that has gained international recognition, and a guest spot on the Maury Povitch Show, is estimated at 15 tons. In a twist worthy of a daytime talk show, the Fatberg is the child of a thousand babies. Thousands of baby-wipes, in conjunction with other sanitary goods, combined to create a monster worthy of a major motion picture, or at least a cheesy CGI flick on SyFy starring yesterday's C-list celebrities.

Vulnerability to sewage systems worldwide

Fatbergs could happen in your neck of the woods anytime. How? If people are careless, if they flush what they should toss, and if they pour oils down the drain, then the Fatberg could cause you peril. You really don't want to find out what a neighborhood sewage backup looks like, or smells like. You probably enjoy the way your house is right now, and backed up toilets take the fun out of civilized living. In this case, an ounce of prevention is worth 15 tons of cure.
